Week 69

This week has been great. We have been teaching a lot, but a lot of contacting as well. There is a great family we are teaching, which has in the home the mom and two brothers, a sister, and a realllly young brother, and in another city lives another brother. Well, we started teaching them, minus the oldest brother who lives at home, as he is a Jehovah's witness. well, the son who lives in another city. Well, we teach the family, in the house, who will listen to us and then one Saturday, we come to teach, and the brother who lives in another city is there! And he tells us that the rest of the family is teaching him all the stuff, and that he thinks its awesome. And they went to church, and have a baptismal date. Changes are this week and i would love to stay in my area.  Its awesome, and we have 5 baptisms planned for Christmas, which are going to happen.  Its going to be awesome. My comp is awesome, he is really funny. Everything is going great, we are having a great time in my area, and having a great time together and teaching. 

Week 68 - Maybe

So we've lost count a little bit.  There's two reasons for this.  One, Lloyd's Dad has missed posting for a bit.  Two, Lloyd's letters have gotten very short over the past month.  They basically say "I'm really busy and don't have time to write.  But I'm doing ok and working hard."

Lloyd is still in the same area.  He does have a new companion from Ecuador.  He had a baptism recently; one of the Hermana's investigators.  

So here is Lloyd's most recent letter that has some information in it!

This week was interesting, because we got visited by elder Duncan, the area president, and two other elders, who are from the church historian office. It was pretty interesting. They talked to us about obedience, which, well, duh. Hahaha. They always talk to us about that. but hey, that's life! And they talked about how much the church has grown in 50 years, and how what we are doing right now might not seem huge, but its really important. We also went to the temple.  It was pretty awesome. A good week, got some new positive investigators.
